365 Cards - Recipe

Today's challenge for 365 Cards is a Recipe Challenge. And it's my DT day, so I HAD to do it. This one was not so bad. (Pam must really be asleep at the helm. Might be time for another mutiny!) The recipe is: one 5x5 card, a rub-on, 2 buttons, 1 printed paper, 1 ribbon, and the sentiment must be inside the card.

I used some Bazzill to make my 5x5 card, and one piece of Fancy Pants paper for the background. The rub-on is K&Company. It came with rhinestones, but the recipe did not allow for those, so I left them off. (Challenge police...take note!)

I love the distress feel of these rub-ons! I used two white buttons and a bit of sheer ribbon from CropStop.

I stamped the greeting on the inside of the card with white ink (stamp - Hero Arts, craft ink - Stampin' Up). The ink was really wet so I heat embossed with Close to My Heart white embossing powder.

This card feels like old jeans to me. Gotta love that! Thanks for looking.

Remember, only 5 more days to sign up to Follow the Blog, then I will draw a name for the blog candy!

  1. Great card Gloria, I think Pam is making this too easy for us as we have had 2 quite easy challenges or is it the lull before the storm?
