A Couple of Challenges

I think I said I'd not be able to do many challenges after Jan. 1st...unless I could combine them with my DT spots. And that's mostly true. I have 9 DT spots right now, so I have to concentrate on them, and not so much on other challenge blogs. But, I still love challenges, so if I can make things work with a DT spot, so much the better!

I made two cards with Simple Doodles digis (I joined the SD team in January after being Guest DT in December). I combined this first card with the Practical Scrappers sketch. It was kind of a hard sketch, but I did my best. (Both of these cards also work for the Practical Scrappers bling challnege.)

I used a new release Simple Doodles digi - the truffle/cupcake! I love these digis. They are just adorable! The paper is Basic Grey and American Crafts. The dotted paper is glittery. The sentiment is Inkadinkado. Totally cute! And true!

I paper pieced the truffle, and colored it with pencils and glaze pens. I added a tiny Prima flower and a pearl.

I think in turned out yummy! Here is another view.

For the next card I used the Simple Doodles snowman digi. He's about the cutest thing on the planet! I love him! I also used the Truly Scrumptious sketch. This was a great sketch, but I did rotate it. We were also to use pink, green, and black. Well, I have all three colors, but there is very little black (the snowman's nose and buttons, and the outline of the digi stamp).

The paper is Bo Bunny and the sentiment stamp is a very old CTMH stamp.

Do you love that ribbon?! I love when I stumble onto such pretty ribbon. I got a bit of it in my January LSS kit, and then purchased a bunch more. It's soooo cool.

Thanks for stopping by today! I love reading all the lovely comments! You folks make all my hard work on this blog worth it!
