My Lifetime Story - Challenge #2

It's time to reveal the My Lifetime Story Challenge #2 - Your Birth Story!

This is where your story begins. It is important to have these details documented in your "My Lifetime Story Album." Find all of your favorite baby photos and ask your parents about any details they remember or have recorded. Also, list details about your name. Are you named after someone? Do you know the significance of your name or how it was chosen?

I only have two baby photos and not very many details about my birth. My mom did not write anything down and she had seven children, so it's all a bit fuzzy for her. I do have a name story that I may add as a second page, and my mother promised me a few more photos, but for now, this page will have to do.

One of the photos is of me when I was still a little baby, getting a bath in the sink! The other photo is of me at Easter when I was about 14 months old. (Click on the photos for a larger view.)

I used Daisy D's paper, which I have been hoarding. I love how it looks like wallpaper. I also really like the soft pinks. I used a Martha Stewart border punch to make the scallops.

I used a Jenni Bowlin mini bingo card and colored in the "2" since I was born on the 2nd. I also stamped an Autumn Leaves date stamp and punched out "February" and "2" on that and backed the holes with pink paper. I stamped the Autumn Leaves oval and then used Making Memories number stamps to add the year. I typed my journaling on the computer, then stamped a frame around it.

I added a bling flourish, flowers, and pearls for more girly flair.

I had fun making this girly page! It's been a while since I was able to scrapbook for a baby girl. My daughter is 14 and I finished her baby album long ago!

ETA: I am also posting this page to Practical Scrappers as they are looking for BLING this week. I think this qualifies!

Thanks for looking!
