TGIF, Baby!

Man, this was some crazy week! I burned the Blogger midnight oil posting all those projects! Luckily I did not get a fatal paper cut! I have an incredible stack of cards to donate to my church after all that crafting. I have been thinking of selling some of the more fabbie cards. I just have to figure out the best way to go about it.

I have two cards for today. This first one is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge, which is to make a card either for a new baby or a new Christian. I used my fabbie new Unity Ippity Devoted stamp set to make this card:

The paper is from my NEW 6x6 pad of Webster's Pages that I snagged at CropStop. Haylie Jo has a ton of new paper pads and other goodies in the store. If you feel the urge to shop, go check it out! I so want to hoard this paper as you only get two sheets of each print, and it's double sided. They really need to put at least 4 of each in there!

I cut the butterflies out of cardstock and printed paper and made a 3-D arrangement with them. This is the Cuttlebug die. I really need to get that Martha butterfly punch that does the smaller sizes. One more thing for my wishlist!

I love this new Unity Ippity Devoted set. It's a great value; you get 8 good-sized stamps for $16. This card is 6x6, so that gives you an idea of the size of the stamps. This one is appox. 3x2. (I do not sell these stamps, but my pal Cindy does, and she'd be happy to hook you up!) I used my Nestie oval dies. Man, have I said lately how much I love these dies?!

I used a little Studio G stamp here in the corner. I added these yummy mulberry flowers. I got these at CropStop too. I am running low so must see if they are still in stock! I need to find a place to get these in bulk without paying a fortune in shipping. The bulk places are all overseas.

I really had fun with this vintage card.

My next card is for my CropStop Friday Embossing project. I really decided to use a bunch of stuff on this card. Since CropStop has challenges and samples for dies, punches, embossing, ATCs and more, I tried to use a lot of different things on this card. It's all about the layers!

I used the SASSC46 sketch challenge because it reminded me of an ATC. Only mine is A2 size. I rounded the corners of the card and all the paper. I embossed the green cardstock with the Cuttlebug Victoria folder. The orange file folder is a Sizzix die, but I added a larger tab by punching some orange paper with the SU tab punch.

The printed paper is Cosmo Cricket Earth Love (from the CropStop store).

The BIG flower is from a huge batch of Heidi Swapp flowers I got from QVC a few years ago. Yes, I have a ton of them left! I folded it in half and stuck it down with a glue dot. The other flower is a K&Company brad, but I pulled it apart and changed the colors to match this card. The pearls are Recollections and the stamps are Autumn Leaves.

Something about the colors of this make me feel so calm! Make sure you stop by the CropStop Blog for a quick review of the on-going challenges!

Hope you can come back tomorrow as I begin my Apron Strings Designs January Card kit reveals! I'll be revealing a few cards each day Saturday-Monday!

Gloria, the scripture is the perfect verse for our challenge this week. The butterflies are a sweet touch and the overall piece is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing your art with us at SSCC.
