CropStop Hops Along Hollywood Blvd!

We are so close to Oscar time that we decided to do a themed blog hop to present to you our new design team members. This blog hop will have 9 stops and at each stop our design team members will be sharing a tip or presenting a challenge.

There will be prizes drawn from those who submit their entries to the blog hop challenges by midnight Wednesday, March 10th (CST). You MUST submit your entry for each blog challenge by leaving a comment (and a link to any project) at each blog stop. You may participate in as many or as few challenges as you wish. Also, sign up to "follow" the CropStop blog and you might win a prize. (Make sure you read this whole post...there is a coupon at the end!)

You should be coming to me from Jessica's blog. If you get lost, start over at the CropStop blog and follow the links, or see the red carpet order at the end of this post.

My movie pick is Steel Magnolias. This is one of those movies where, at one point, you are laughing and crying at the same time! That cemetery scene is one of the best ever! I just love this movie!

I decided to make a sympathy card, plus use a lot of texture on my card, because the women in this movie are full of "texture." So...my challenge to you is: Use at least 3 embossing folders OR 3 types of dry embossing on your project. You can make a card, a page layout, an altered item, an ATC, whatever you choose. Make sure you post your link here to be counted for the prizes!

Here is my card:

I embossed in 5 ways for this card! I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder for the kraft background; the Cuttlebug Japanese Scales folder for the printed paper; the flowers from the Cuttlebug Just My Type border set, the Scor-pal to emboss lines on the blue paper, and the Spellbinders large scallop square die to emboss my sentiment.

That yummy flower is something I found in my stash. I need to try to make more of these flowers. It's just ribbon folded and sewn into place!

The sentiment stamp is Stampin' Up, and the border punch is the new SU punch that you can earn free during Sale-a-Bration.

Make sure to leave me a comment with your project link to be entered into the CropStop drawing.

If you cannot make a project today, you can still win a prize! Sign up to Follow My Blog, then leave me a comment telling me you've done so, and I'll do a Random Draw from all my comments to receive this amazing prize!

I have been planning to give out a RAK to celebrate 100 Followers and my birthday in February, and now the CropStop blog hop! So Follow Me and I'll enter you to win this prize. I may add more stuff to it, so make sure to leave me a comment so I can enter you into the drawing!
