Practical Scrappers Guest Designer

If you are looking for the CropStop Blog Hop and prize package...scroll down to the next post.

I really have enjoyed playing along with the challenges at Practical Scrappers. You already know that In February I was asked to create one sketch a month for them, but I was also asked to be a guest designer for the first two weeks of March. How cool is that?!

The challenge for this week is to use ink or chalk on your project. I used ink, and because I am a rebel, I used it in the form of re-inker and glimmer mist! The papers are Pink Paislee and Graphic 45 (the bathing beauty clip art). The stamp is Stampin' Up, from my favorite set! This set was made just for me! Honest. The yummy ribbon is May Arts.

The snazzy flower is one of those cabbage roses that I love to make! I cut 6-8 small scallop circles from pages of an old book, scrunched them, and sprayed them with my home-made glimmer mist. I make it by mixing re-inker, water, and Pearl Ex (or Perfect Pearls) powders. I use a small spray bottle found at the beauty supply store.

I love this vintage card! It's just my style, with that quirky sentiment...pure ME! This is why I create. It's just so much fun!

There is a little blurb about me on the PS site, and they got it right except...I think I said October Afternoon was my favorite paper line. Well, it was probably my fav that day, but it's not THE fav. I have a list of favs...just so you know.

Make sure you scroll down to the next post for the CopStop Blog Hop and leave a comment there so you can have a chance to win my awesome prize and also get a chance at winning a prize from CropStop!
