Friday CropStop Embossing - April 9th

There is something about embossing folders..I just can't get enough of them! I have to look into a better storage option because the drawer where I store them is so packed with folders that it's hard to see what I have. (I know, boo hoo on me!) I am anxiously awaiting the new Cuttlebug and Tim Holtz folders...may they get here soon!

To make myself feel better about waiting for my CHA pre-orders, I have been getting my hands on some of the older Cuttlebug folders...like the Tiny Mosaic one. CropStop keeps a great stock of folders, in all the brands! Lucky me!

Anyway, I used the Tiny Mosaic folder and the Fleur de Lis folder for this card. (I think Fleur de Lis came out at the summer CHA.)

I embossed two shades of brown Core'dinations Cardstock, then sanded the embossing. I use this technique a lot. Are you getting tired of seeing it? Too bad! {grin}

I used a Tim Holtz stamp set (Mini Classics) to create a mini collage. Funny how that worked out!

That honkin' metal washer is from We R Memory Keepers. The twine is May Arts. I even stamped the inside of the card. I've been guilted into doing that more often by those zealots at my LSS Club. Those ladies just love to peek inside the card and give me static when I don't put anything in there.

The greeting stamp is another new clear stamp from KLM Designs.

Hope you enjoyed visiting today. I have a second post going up in a bit...with the Practical Scrappers sketch.

And just to keep you updated, I will be announcing my local classes soon. I already have a date of July 31st for a Graphic 45 beach mini album class. That will be held at Cool Scrapbook Stuff. They snagged me first! I should have some classes and dates for Ever After, Gee Gee's Stamps 'N Stuff, and Stamping Details soon. All the classes will use Graphic 45 papers and perhaps some Tim Holtz goodness!
