Graphic45 Christmas Past

Well, I missed Christmas in July, so we need to just be ok with Christmas in August! And by "we" I mean "you." I am a confessed vintage Christmas lover! I love everything about vintage and old-fashioned Christmas. I wish we could go back to the "good old days" if only for Christmas! Hand-made gifts and home-baked treats and just the innocence and joy of Christmas. The stronger my walk with the Lord, the more I wish for "Christmas Past."

Graphic45 has outdone themselves with 4 new papers (8 new prints) for their Christmas Past line! I cut the Santa from the Victorian Greetings paper for this card. Is he cool or what?! But, man! That was a lot of fussy cutting for a gal who needs reading glasses!

I layered Santa over a doily that I first sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist. Nothing "olds" things up like glimmer mist! I found that yummy green ribbon (Stampin' Up) in my "Christmas drawer." I had a lot of it so I must have been planning a big project at some point.... The buttons are from my stash.

Here is the inside. The stamp is a very old Stampin' Up foam stamp!

Here is anther card. This one is a 5x7. Once I started, I needed a bigger size! I used another image from the Victorian Greetings paper.

Check out how I used the Graphic45 flowers. I added a Jolee's poinsettia and a vintage button. Yum! I sprayed the whole deal-ee-oo with some diamond mist.

Check out Santa's pipe smoke! It's Prima pearls! Am I cool or what?!

I added some ribbon, cut outs from the papers, a charm, pin, etc. Just some this and that to jazz it up!

The tree is a Sizzix die that I cut from chipboard, then cardstock. I grunged it up with ink, then added buttons and Maya Road bingo numbers.

The next view is of the inside. The stamp is Close to My Heart; the ticket stamp is Tim Holtz.

This last card is my favorite made from this line. I again used a cut out from the Victorian Greetings paper. Can you tell it was my fav?!

I stamped flowers onto the paper with a Heartfelt Creations stamp, then cut them out using a Spellbinders die. I jazzed the flower up with a G45 button and some rhinestones. The lace is also G45 from the new Trims set! Yum! Then I used some fabbie pins and a Tim Holtz stamp.

For the inside I used another Close to My Heart stamp set.

Hope you liked my Christmas in August!
