CropStop Die Cut Challenge - Fall Frolic

Hello and good morning! Today is my day to post a challenge to the CropStop Fall Frolic! The Creative Team was asked to pick a project from our Gallery to use as inspiration for our challenges. I picked this amazing project by Jessica for my challenge inspiration! Jessica is very creative, as you can see. I love how she used the Cuttlebug Butterfly Diecut inside her wire cage. She MADE that cage out of wire, y'all! Wow!

So my challenge for you is: Use a die cut to make some sort of 3-D or altered art project. NO CARDS. NO SCRAPBOOK PAGES.

Does that sound hard? It's not. You don't have to be as fancy as Jessica! Here is a little goodie bag I made yesterday. I found these 61/2 x 3/12 inch sacks at Michael's...because my friend Jacquie told me to go there and buy them...and they come in lots of colors...and are cheap! I purchased a package of black and one of kraft. So, I used one of the black ones, and some dies, to make this cute goodie bag! (And no! I am NOT going to make 100 of them to hand out to the neighborhood kids this year. I'm not Michelle Wooderson you know!)

The house is a Maya Road chipboard covered with Basic Grey Eerie paper. I cut the ghosts out of vellum with an old Sizzix die. The greeting is from a Hero Arts stamp set. I cut the circles with Spellbinders circle and inverted circle dies.

I tried several adhesive products on the vellum, but none really worked very well. I ended up using the Xyron. That's the trouble with vellum on black paper - the adhesive is hard to hide!

Get out your dies or electronic diecut machine and get to creating! As added incentive to play along in my challenge, I am offering some blog candy! Just leave a comment on on this post telling me that you are participating in my CropStop die cut challenge and your name will go into my prize draw at the end of the crop! (And yes, I will check up to see if you've actually MADE the project. Y'all know I need to SEE the cool stuff you make! You can link it here if you wish.) The winner will be posted on my blog on 10/2!

Complete and upload your project, with "Die Cut Challenge" as the title into the "FALL FROLIC" album in the Cropstop Gallery, by the September 30th deadline to be eligible for the grand prize draw! The big prize comes from CropStop and you do NOT want to miss out on THAT!

Have fun Frolicking!
