A New Year of Fun!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year's Eve! I'll be staying home with my husband and two younger children. We plan to go to the movies this afternoon (to see Tangled), then have a steak and lobster dinner at home (cooked by my amazing husband). My oldest son has a "sleep over" event tonight - he's attended this party every year for the past 5 years. A bunch of guys his age get together and play games and eat junk food. It's comforting to know that I don't have to worry about where he is or what he's up to! These guys are all amazing Christian young men and the worst that ever happens is that they go into a sugar coma!

First, I have an end-of-the year deal for you. Check out the amazing opportunity from Christian Paper Crafts and Through the Craftroom Door! Great things are coming from CPC this new year! If you are familiar with the Dirty Dozen Fan Club at Splitcoaststampers...you will LOVE what is happening at CPC! I'm hard at work on my first projects for the new Design Team Delights, which will be revealed to members on January 15th! Plus, I will continue to create sketches for CPC as well.

Second, you MUST check out the BRAND NEW CropStop Challenge Blog! Dalis did such a fantastic job on the new look! We will be posting our very first challenge on January 6th! And we are looking for a NEW Creative Team. See the blog for details! There will be prizes and awards every week on the new blog! (I will cheat and tell you that I will be creating exclusive sketches for CropStop starting in January!)

My last bit of scrappy news...is that I will be working on a new program for Stamping Details, which is a local stamp store. They will be featuring a NEW Loralie Designs stamp each month. These fun and funky ladies are just a hoot! Stamping Details has aked me to make the sample boards each month! I had a blast doing the January board! Here is a sneaky peaky of the January lady....

I know...that was mean! Check back soon for the big reveal!

I will be super busy in 2011, but I am also super excited! I hope you will join me on my journey! All of you who read this little blog-er-oonie are what keeps me creating. Your kind comments and your questions, and your support - it all means the world to me! I am loving every minute of this crafty journey and am happy that you are on it with me!

  3. hey Gloria...sounds like you are defo going to be a busy lady!! My son is too having a sleepover with a few friends which I am so glad about as there is a humungeous Hogmanay party in Edinburgh that a lot of teenagers my sons age go to and it would be such a worry.
Hubby, myself and Holly will be at home...we have already had dinner...I made stovies which is kind of a tradition here on hogmanay...not sure if you have heard of that and then we are going to watch some TV and then bed.

    Happy New Year.
