Graphic45 Curtain Call Peeks

Happy Ground Hog's Day! The BEST holiday of the year...because it's also MY BIRTHDAY! {giggle} I woke up to a clean kitchen and a large bouquet of flowers. My dh is "the man"! He and the kids plan to cook me a Weight Watchers friendly dinner tonight, and then dh is taking me out shopping and for sushi on Saturday. Not a bad deal!

I am still rolling out my Graphic45 and Hampton Art peeks. I know CHA is over, but many stores won't have the new stuff in for a few weeks, and in some cases months! So, I'll keep posting my projects to give you some inspiration for using the new products! This is the last of the cards I made for the Hampton Art booth, using the Curtain Call line.

I showed you a black and red version of this card. I like the black and cream version also. The Graphic45 papers are so rich! When I pull this paper out, cards just make themselves!

I used my trusty Spellbinders Nesties and the Tim Holtz paper rosette die. I sure love my dies. I have a Cricut, but I really like my dies better. I added lots of silver Stickles to the flower and around the edge of the image. The image is from the Curtain Call 3 stamp set.

I used one of the Graphic45 borders on the inside of the card. Aren't those musicians great?!

Of course, I love the Paris images most from this line. I have visited Paris twice and of all the places I can see myself living, Paris is top of the list!

I love the polka dots on the Leading Ladies sheet! But my favorite paper in the line is the Applause sheet with all of the tickets!

I stamped the Eiffel Tower in black, then stamped the postage once on scrap paper, then onto the main image to give it a faded look. I colored the stars with a Star Dust glitter pen. The images are from the Curtain Call 2 set.

I used more tickets and the postage for the inside of the card.

This next card is my favorite of the set. I showed you a black and teal version of this card, but here is the black and cream version.

Does this scream vintage or what?! I used the Spellbinders Nestie lacy squares die to make a frame for my image. The images are from the Curtain Call 1 set.

I stamped the Cinema ticket onto kraft cardstock, and then framed it with a Tim Holtz metal frame. I finally splurged and purchased some of these frames. I love them, but they are very expensive. They are the sort of thing I tend to hoard because they are so pricey. But, since this card was for CHA, I went all out!

For the inside I used another border strip, and then stamped and fussy cut the movie reel.

Naturally, I had to make a tag with this set. I love making tags. For whatever reason I never got into ATCs, but I love tags of all sizes. Tim Holtz does such amazing tags, but my style is different than his. I treat my tag like a mini scrapbook page or card front, where he treats his like an art canvas.

I added a pop of red to this tag, using some hand-dyed seam binding. I also pulled out some old Making Memories metal embellishments for this tag. It's always nice to de-hoard!

You can see all the dimension in this tag. I stamped an image from the Curtain Call 2 set, then distressed the paper. I added an Eiffel Tower charm. Something else I've been hoarding!

Here you can see a peek of the Pink Paislee foam embellishment. I inked and Stickled it to make it look like old wood molding.

This was my last Hampton Art peek. I still have all of my Graphic45 peeks to share! I am not sure when I'll show those, soon I hope! Tomorrow I'll have a CropStop sketch to show you, so come on back!
