Blog Candy Winners!

Wow! 361 Followers to the blog through Blogger! More via one of the other subscribe methods and Networked Blogs! Who knew when I started this little blog in 2007 that so many people would want to read it?! Especially when I think I only posted 3 times in the first two years, or something like that! {grin} I am honored and humbled by the lovely comments and support from all of you. Thank you, frequent readers!

Now, I am offering two prizes...

I gave everyone who commented on my blog candy post a number, I added in those who emailed me or left a comment on Facebook saying Google would not allow them to comment...and threw all those numbers into a Random Generator. And it drew these two gals...

I've been reading your inspiring blog via Google Reader but today I signed up as an official follower. Thanks for sharing your lovely 3:10 PM

Ladies, you have until June 4th to email me with your mailing address, and I'll get your packages off to you next week. If I don't hear from you within a week, I will draw new names. My email is in the left sidebar.

Thanks to EVERYONE who played along. I do wish I had more prizes to give out. But...maybe later in the year I can do this again! Thanks for hanging out with me. I hope to have lots of fun things to share for the second half of 2011. So, stay tuned!

During this Memorial Day weekend, I want to recognize those who serve our country in this time of war and turmoil, and to recognize those who gave up their lives for our country. I want to say thank you to my father and all four brothers who all served in our nation's military. Three of the four of you served during time of war, and praise God, came home to us. But on this day, I remember my dad and my youngest brother. Rest in Peace to my Pop, Richard LaRue Getgen who left us July 1997. And to my wonderful kid brother, Todd Dale, Getgen, who was taken from us most cruelly July 2010. I miss you both.
