Graphic45 Father's Day Project

I created this altered envelope project for the Graphic45 Blog. Please make sure you go check out the projects on their blog today, as Sherry and Robin also have FANTASTIC projects to share! Both ladies are amazingly talented!

Here is my project.

I altered a Graphic45 Kraft Envelope Album Staple for this project, rather than make a standard card. Using an envelope allows for tucking a gift card inside (for those hard to buy for fathers!). I removed one page from the envelope album, and then covered it with paper and other goodies.

And what better paper to use for Father's Day than Graphic45 A Proper Gentleman?! I covered the envelope and the flap with paper, then fussy cut an image from the paper to use as a focal point.

I used some Ideao-olgy metal and film strip ribbon to decorate the project. Then I used Spellbinders S4-246 Labels Eleven to cut out the sentiment. The fabbie stamp is from StampingScrapping.

I used some May Arts twine to "tie" everything together! This project was so fun to make. I hope it gives you some ideas for making cards or gifts for the dad in your life!

Supplies:
Envelope: Graphic45 Kraft Envelope Album Staples
Graphic45 paper: A Proper Gentleman (A Proper Gentleman, Sporting Aristocrat, Man About Town, Cultured Reserve)
Metal embellishments: Tim Holtz Idea-ology (clock, spinners, brads, pen nib)
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities S4-246 Labels Eleven
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Distress Old Paper
Stamps: StampingScrapping Label Accents
Film strip: Tim Holtz Idea-ology
Button: Graphic45 Button Staples
Twine: May Arts
Adhesive: Scotch 3M tape, Glue Dots, Tombow Mono Metal Liquid, Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue
