365 Cards Vintage Week Continues!

Vintage Week is wrapping up at 365 Cards! I am so happy Pam asked me to sponsor this week! I've missed playing along with the gals (and guys) at the 365 Challenge Blog! There are not enough hours in the day right now, and I do miss playing in challenges and chatting with my cyber peeps!

At any rate, I finished the week! Here are the last three cards! For Day 170, which was Vintage Plus Blue: I am not really sure this is vintage, but I had colored this stamp the other night and really wanted to use her for the blue day. I paired her with vintage prints and hope for the best!

I sponged some chalk ink around the image, and got a bit heavy-handed on the one side...so pretend you don't notice! That fab-tastic border is made with the NEW Spellbinders Edgeabilities dies!

This cute stamp is from Penny Black. I have not purchased any Penny Black stamps in a long time and was really happy to find some cute ladies and children stamps recently!

For Day 172, which was Vintage Plus Green...I had some troubles. I told you the other day that green is NOT my "go to" color! But, using green and gray together worked out pretty well! (Did you notice: I decided to go with a "skinny girl dress" theme for today?!)

I stamped and fussy cut the dress, then added some shading with Copics.

I had some sparkly silver ribbon, just a tiny bit left over from another project...and it was perfect for this card!

For Day 173, we were to do Vintage Plus Yellow. Yellow is another color I almost never use. But this Authentique paper is so pretty that I grabbed it right away for this card!

The gray, black, kraft and yellow combo seems to work pretty well for a vintage card. Plus I stamped a ticket and cut it out. Nothing says vintage to me like tickets!

The flowers are from Prima, and I also found some yellow baker's twine in my stash the other day. Really Reasonable Ribbon has this really great assortment, so I snagged it a while back, and promptly forgot I had it. It's fun to shop your stash! Never know what you'll find!  Yum!

Remember: I am drawing a winner for the 365 Cards Vintage Week - for the prize shown HERE - later in the week. I want to give you all time to make a comment on the August 14-20 posts here on the blog. Also, to win the prize I've donated to 365 Cards, make sure you link up your cards to the BLOG.

  1. Well, well, well... It's been a (too) long time since I playes with you on Pam's challenges...
I looked through your posts this weeks, and what can I say... Pure beauty, each one of your creations.
But I did notice that you had to be a bit of a rebel, with the blue one.
And yes, Pam sure didn't drink one of her special coffee drinks. The sketch is real nice.
Off I go to try and make two more cards for this week (and I just might get my all-star badge!)
    You take care, dear G....

Hm, my kitten got jealous when I looked at your cards, and got up on the computer and tried to get me to pet her instead of bragging about your cards.

  12. I usually don't care for the colour gray in anything, so imagine my surprise when my favorite of the bunch was the yellow and gray one. Lovely, simply lovely !
