CPS Sketch Challenge #257

Really Reasonable Ribbon is sponsoring the sketch this week at Card Positioning Systems (CPS Sketch), and we lucky gals on the RRR Design Team were asked to help make some cards for this week's CPS challenge. Since I love a sketch AND I love ribbon, how could I say no?!

Here is the sketch:

And my card. I don't make a lot of cards this size and orientation, but wanted to give it a go. I did change up the sketch a tiny bit, because my image was a bit larger then the scale of the circle on the sketch.

I have had this little stamp for over a year and have never inked it up! I love it, but thought it looked hard to color. Once I started, it was not so bad!

I used the diamond satin ribbon from the March Ribbon Club.

And I used Lemon Baker's Twine to tie my buttons. Can I just say that I hate naked buttons?! If I don't put twine or string on my buttons, I think they look wrong. I cringe when I am forced to use naked buttons.

And the inside. I made two panels, like the sketch calls for, but then they were too big. So, I just moved one to the inside of the card. Ta-da! Happy accident! {grin}

Thanks to CPS for allowing me to play along this week! It was fun!
