London Town - Spellbinders

I did a little "drive-by" of the Spellbinders Idea Gallery today, and saw a few of my projects from last winter had been posted. I really love this London layout so I wanted to share it with you. I took these photos when my husband and I were in London for our anniversary in 2009. {If you are sick of my Paris and London photos, you will be happy to hear that we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year by going to Alaska! New photos to scrap!}

I took these photos of the pubs which were around the corner from our hotel. The flowers were so pretty. Plus, I had to take a photo of the "Drury Lane" sign to show my kids...because in one of the Shrek Movies they talk about the Muffin Man who lives on Drury Lane. {It's a sad day when all of your movie quotes are from Shrek, Toy Story, Princess Bride, and Die Hard!}

I created all of the flowers with the Spiral Blossom Three die template. I cut the flowers from printed paper, and once they were rolled, I let them "relax" a bit so that I could glue a dew drop crystal into the center.

I even did a journaling spot for this page - with HANDWRITTEN journaling! I don't do much journaling, which makes it extra important when I do!

I really love how the gray and hot pink worked together for this layout. It is not my normal color palette, but it came together so nicely. Plus those flowers are do die for!
