Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #70

It is time again for a Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge! The NEW Challenge is to make a Mother's Day project. Remember to use ribbon!

I had the April Ribbon Club on my desk and decided to use some of it for my card. I confess that I "cheated" off myself when I made this card. This is a card design I used about a year ago to make a card and decided I'd try it again. Why reinvent the wheel every week. To see the original card, click HERE. (My friend Pam just told me to check out the Mojo Monday #289 for today...and my card is a match for their new sketch! Too funny! I will add my card to their challenge.)

I stamped the sentiment (Inspired by Stamping) and trimmed it out with a circle die template. I also used a butterfly die template. Very "springy." A punched butterfly adds just the right touch.

I wrapped some of the apple green satin ribbon around the card, then topped that with the stripped ribbon (Island Splash Striped Grosgrain). I created a double bow, topped with a paper flower.

I stamped the Mother's Day sentiment on the inside of the card and added a few more butterflies.

  2. This card makes me happy every time I look at it! Honestly, the colors you chose just sing. And, when a design is this great, why not repeat it?
