Simple and Elegant with WorldWin Papers

WorldWin Papers carries a lot of different cardstock and papers. They even have a full Stationery Collection with envelopes! They asked the Design Team to create some items with the papers in the stationery line that customers would be able to reproduce int bulk. Ok, simple and bulk are not really words I like to use! But, I am always up for a challenge...

I made three cards in a similar style. Frankly, once I pulled out my Cricut Expressions machine to cut the sentiment, I figured I may as well cut a bunch of them. I now have a little stash of pre-cut sentiments for later use!

My goal was to try to make some thank you notes that a bride may wish to make to mail out after her wedding. (My niece is getting married in June, hence my preoccupation with wedding items!)

I created a 5x7 inch card from Black Ore Petallics cardstock. I also cut the sentiment out of the same paper. I embossed a piece of Bear Grass Petallics cardstock for the background and trimmed it to fit the card front.

I lined the card with Premium White Cardstock, trimmed to size. You can stamp a message, write by hand, or since the papers in the stationery collection are 8 1/2 x 11 inches, you can even place the cardstock in your printer and print a message.

The card will fit into the WorldWin A7 Envelopes, which come in all the colors of the stationery cardstock.

I  created another 5x7 inch card, in the landscape format.

I made the card and cut the sentiment from Beargrass Petallics, and I embossed Black Ore Petallics.  You can see that the cardstock embossed very well. The Petallics collection is very heavy weight, and very rich and luxurious.

I know that some brides prefer to use a smaller sized card for thank you notes, so I created one that is 3 3/8 x 4 7/8 inches.

This card will fit into the WorldWin A1 size envelope (just a bit larger than a 3x5 inch index card).

That is my ode to simple and elegant! Let me tell you, this was harder than anything I have made in ages! Well, thinking of the idea was hard, but it was simple to execute once I figured out what I wanted to do!

I hope you have a chance to check out all that WorldWin has to offer! Come and say HELLO to us at the WorldWin Blog!

  1. These are lovely! I like the way you embossed the top and bottom, leaving the middle clear for sentiment. Very classy!

  2. Welllllllllll...they're nice. You are incapable of making anything "bad" I think. But they are not you. I was wondering what you were alluding to...and now I know!
