Inspired by Stamping June Release - Day 1

It is time for the Inspired by Stamping June Release! Every 1st-5th of the month IBS shares "teasers" of the new release. Then, the 6th-9th of each month the design team will share project "peeks" of the release. The FULL release is shared on the 10th!

I get to share my project using the Summer Postcard Add On (set of 15).

I love vintage postcards. Just adore them. If I see any "real" vintage postcards at flea markets or yard sales, I snap them up! I also collect postage-themed stamp sets. Imagine my happiness at getting more postcard stamps!

I created a large tag, suitable for attaching to a gift bag or package. I tucked the little postage images into the flowers, as well as added them to other areas of the tag.

I used some postage edge dies and scissors to trim out the images. I also wanted to go big with the theme, so I used images from the Background Basics III, Vintage Postcards, and Creative Tags sets.

I colored this image with Copic markers and trimmed it out with a postage-die template. I love this tag. It is summer, vintage, and postage all at once!

I hope you enjoyed peeking at the new Summer Postage Add On set. Also check the other postage sets: Vintage Postcards, Vintage Postcards Add On I

  7. Oh Gloria, of COURSE you woujld have a fabulous work of art. I LOVE all the layers and colors and vintage, postage-y goodness. You've given me all kinds of inspiration for using this stamp set. I don't make a lot of tags because of their size, but I can see that one can do a LOT with just a little "real estate." Thanks for the inspiration! (I, too, collect vintage postcards, especially the ones with writing on them - I just love them.)
