Inspired by Stamping June Release - Day 3

It is time for the Inspired by Stamping June Release! Every 1st-5th of the month IBS shares "teasers" of the new release. Then, the 6th-9th of each month the design team will share project "peeks" of the release. The FULL release is shared on the 10th!

I get to share my project using the Big Notes in French II (set of 4) and French Country Backgrounds (set of 3).

I told you the other day about my love of postage images. Well, French country images rank right up there aw well! Joanna really did a great job this month of making stamps that I love!

I stamped the anniversary sentiment (Happy Anniversary) Big Notes in French II in black ink and cut it out with an oval die template. I also cut a mat from the next largest oval.

I used the floral spray from the Flowers Bloom set to decorate the ovals. I stamped the floral spray with dark red ink.I stamped the flowers AFTER I die cut the oval because it was easier for me to line the flowers up with the edge of the die cut shape.

I stamped the NEW French Country Backgrounds image (the grunge checkerboard) onto gold paper, then trimmed it down. I love creating my own background paper with stamps. (I just love paper!)

I hope you enjoyed peeking at the new Big Notes in French II and French Country Backgrounds sets. Also check the other French-themed sets: French Country (NEW), Big Notes in French I, French Boutique, and Paris.

Go and see what the other DT members are sharing today!
