Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Tag Book

Well, Blogger peeps... This is that last of my Graphic 45 "team projects." Everything you see after this will be "just 'cause I wanna projects." {grin}

I created this tag album for some workshops that Graphic 45 taught during the fall. They also taught some of the tags as workshops at Scrapfest and other venues. This was such a fun project to make. I used the Graphic 45 Regular Album Tag Staples and the Steampunk Spells Collection.

As always, I had to stay within a certain budget, use only certain products, and also stay within the prescribed time-frame for the workshop. Easy, right?! {I need the "eyes bugging out" smiley face!}

The workshop participants were able to make this "from scratch" album and six tag pages. Double-sided tags at that!

Here is a peeky at the spine. This is a nice, chunky book!

And the back cover. In LOVE with that flowered steampunk paper!

I used some extra tags and a piece of ribbon to create a "latch" to keep the book closed.

Look at all of those fabby layers! Are you drooling yet?! (Keep reading! There IS a project sheet!)

The tags make a sort of waterfall effect when the book is opened.

Here is a peek at what the backs of the tags are like. Each one has a journaling spot on it.

Are you ready to see the tags?!

Number 1: check out the doily! And that fabbie key.

Number 2: This is also a pocket!

Number 3: Do you love Doctor Dreadful? This one is a pocket, too.

Number 4: Diggin' the banner at the bottom!

 Number 5: Yet another pocket. And look at the flower!

Number 6: Ok, I am not a fan of skeletons, but...Mr. Seymour Bones? Really?! You just gotta laugh!

Are you ready for the project sheet? Click the link: Steampunk Spells Tag Album! (Be patient. It is a big file and takes a few minutes to load.) You get the directions for the book AND all six tags! I show you how to make the book and spine, how to make the tags, and how to assemble the book! There is a supply list included on the project sheet.

If you have ever wanted to take a Graphic 45 Workshop and have never had the opportunity, this is the next best thing! If you get stuck, email me and I will try to help you. Also, feel free to make this book with one of the other collections. How fun would this be in the NEW Sweet Sentiments papers?!

I will be back Monday with more Christmas cards. Stay tuned for a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT on the 26th!
