JUNE STAMP RELEASE!!!

have been waiting for this moment for a while! This is my first stamp release with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! My new stamp set is part of their June 2014 Release! I am so indebted to Korin at SnSS for her willingness to work with me to get my clear stamp designs into your hands!

Now, here it is.....

Birthday Word Art! This is a 6 x 8-inch set with 13 large sentiments! This stamp set is my baby! I really love word art and typography, and I hope you all love it, too!

Plus, it is so EASY to find the stamps! Simply visit the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps online store, click on the Clear Stamps tab, click on "By Designer" from the drop-down list, and then click on "Gloria Stengel." Any stamps or dies that I have designed will pop up! (This feature is not yet operational.)

Looky! I get giddy every time I see this! Yay me! I know, it is the little things for me. {grin}

SnSS sent me my "designer's sample" set of stamps and I got busy playing with them. Let me tell you, these guys stamp up BEAUTIFULLY!

I love combining feminine and masculine elements, so I paired this curly font with some typewriter text to create this sentiment. It is perfect for a "romantic" birthday card. I stamped with black dye ink onto off-white cardstock. Yum!

I created a layered 5 x 5-inch card with some flowers and lacy die cut shapes. I did not have any blue flowers to match the paper, so I sprayed a few cream flowers with mists. They are not the correct shade, but let's roll with it!

This card is quite lumpy and will need to be mailed in a box or padded envelope. I love it when the card is part of the gift!

Here is the inside. Super lumpy! I created a few extra sentiments in the curly font so that you could mix and match. I added a gift card holder to the inside of the card, and more flowers. The inside could be a card front!

I wanted to create a stamp set that was very versatile. Here is a more masculine card that I made. This card is also a nod to my very dear friend Sandy...who is rarely on time for anything. {wink}

What a great way to send a belated birthday card! There is no hiding the fact that your card is late...but how amazing to get this card in the mail!

I found some twill ribbon and a wood button in my stash to make the perfect manly accents. Now bows or flowers here!

This card is not too lumpy. It still has a lot of dimension to it, but honestly, people are worth a bit of expense and fuss on their birthdays, right?!

And for the inside! I love this silly phrase. I had to include it in my stamp set!

I think this stamp set is also good for making cards for teens and younger children. (Wait until you see what some of the SnSS design team created!)

I added the number strip stamp thinking that you could get a lot of use out of it for birthdays, and for other mixed media projects. I will share some fun uses of that particular stamp another time. Bottom line...I love the number strip!

I stamped directly onto printed paper with brown dye ink. Look at how great the image stamped! Woot!

 And a peeky at the inside. I created a few of these general sayings in a larger size than you normally see them. I wanted you to be able to use them for the front or the inside of your cards. A few if the stamps also fit into a circle punch or die, so you can use them for gift tags!

I hope you have time to see what the SnSS design team has done with the stamps. Also, make sure to see what other stamps and dies are in the NEW release!
