Graphic 45 NEW Collections Feature!

Good Morning! I am so excited to be featured on the Graphic 45 Blog today! In my role as a Project Designer, I mostly create things for the Retail Market rather than for the G45 Blog. But, once in a while, G45 kindly asks me to create a few extra things to share with our Readers! They sent me the NEW winter release collections and asked me to make a few cards. So...here you go!

Grab a cup of something and sit down with your feet up! This is a long post!

I created this card with the Home Sweet Home Collection. This is a collection that I have asked for ever since French Country came out. I told Diane that I wanted to see a sort of "farmer's wife" country collection, and here it is! {yay}

I love the colors and prints of this collection. I ended up using just a tiny bit of the paper, after all that fussing to get my hands on it. Mostly because I am hoarding it for a larger, mini album project! I don't get as much free stuff these days, so I have to hoard. That's my story and I am sticking to it!

I used Spellbinders and Heartfelt Creations dies to create some "fabric" flowers from the paper. I dabbed the flowers with white paint to make them a bit more shabby.

I think the kraft cardstock and the ivory lace adds to the country feel of this card.

The tag die is one that has been in my hoard, but I had not used it before (Spellbinders Framed Tags One). I love the "stitched" edges of the die cut.

I decorated the inside of the card as well. Naturally!

The next collection that I used is the NEW Precious Memories Collection. This collection is a perfect match for the retired Little Darlings Collection! I have loads of Little Darlings in my hoard, and I was so happy to see this new, updated collection to "match"!

I created this baby girl card with lots of pink and with lots of vintage flair by using embossing and twine. I have recreated this card (in slightly different design) for a charity event workshop that I am teaching in April. The event benefits babies and mommies, so what could be better than creating sweet baby cards?!

I not only embossed the background cardstock, but I also embossed the ATC tag. Rubbing a bit of tan ink over the embossing gives that shabby look. I fussy cut the little dresses and clipped them to the twine "clothes line" with tiny clothespins.

Part of the shabby charm of this card is the bow and buttons!

Here is a peeky at the inside!

I decided to do a boy version, but this time I created a card suitable for twins!

I have created a more simple version of this card for the charity event, too. I just adore the sweet prints in this collection, plus the added bonus of those adorable images!

I created a stacked feature for the card with a heart doily die cut, some ivory twine, and a fabby, double satin bow!

I added some embossed stars and a button.

And the inside, with a stamp from the Little Darlings collection.

I hope to make more cards from this collection to donate. I am at an age where my friends and family are no longer having babies, and in fact some of my friends are already grandmas! It is very rare for me to need a baby card. But, donating them is the next best thing!

The last NEW collection is the Artisan Style Collection

I actually created this card for Craft Hoarders back in January, but I will share again here. I do love the colors and some of the prints in the collection! It is very rich!

Graphic 45 certainly hit the ball out of the park with the new Winter Release! I am sure you will see more projects with these collections, as well ad the Deluxe Collector's Collections in the days and weeks to come! In fact, I recently made a project with the NEW Once Upon A Springtime Collection. I was part of the G45 team when this collection hit the shelves the first time. It is still wonderful.

Time to Flourish was released in November 2014 as a pre-release collection. I have been creating projects with that collection for the Retail Market. I was also asked to create a Snapguide project for our Fans! I used the March Time to Flourish papers and a bit of left-over Secret Garden (retired).

One of my favorite color combinations is purple and green! I love the March Time to  Flourish. I cannot wait to be able to share the March project sheets with all of you, which will be in a few weeks. In the meantime, this is just a taste of what you will see with that project set!

The Snapguide I created contained instructions for hand-dying seam binding! See below!

  7. Sensory overload!!! LOL Soooo many gorgeous cards in so many different styles...I can't decide which one I love the most...but because we just added a sweet new baby girl to our family, I have to go with that darling Precious Memories little girl card. It was pure genius to dry emboss those dots on the background, and I love the little dresses hanging from a tag. It really is sugar and spice and everything nice. But that mini album is pretty amazing, too. You really know how to make G45 shine, Gloria. I wish you could do more of these projects for them. I'm always inspired!
