Really Reasonable Ribbon November Blog Hop

Good morning, Blogger Peeps! I am "guesting" for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop every month, and right now, it is time for the November Blog Hop

You should be coming to my blog from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. (For the complete blog list, scroll to the bottom of the post.) After visiting me, hop over to Ginny's Blog next!

Here is a peeky at the RRR November Ribbon Club Assortment. This one is called Silver and Gold Mix. It is stunning!

This collection is perfect for elegant Christmas or New Year's projects!

I created a 6" x 5" Christmas card using lots of gold, glitter, and teal! So vintage and sparkly!

The image on my card is from a set of "doilies" that were strung together on a gold ribbon. The back of each piece is marked "Merrimack Publishing Company 1979." These were in a box of goodies that my brother sent me when he cleaned out my late sister-in-law's craft room. His wife was an excellent floral designer, but she also dabbled in all sorts of crafts and home decor. I was happy to get some of her "treasures" after she had passed away. It makes me happy to give a small piece of her to someone in the form of a card! She was a wonderful prayer warrior and sister in Christ! Whoever receives this card gets a true treasure!

I tried to match the blue in the lady's dress and the gold on the doily. I used the Shimmer Satin Old Gold and Christmas Ornaments Satin ribbon from the Ribbon Club. I stacked the shimmer satin and the printed satin together, and then I used just the printed ornament satin to make a tiny bow for the top of the image.

I added a lot of glittery floral elements. I also used some mists to spray ivory flowers to match the image. The paper is Graphic 45 The Twelve Days of Christmas. I have oodles of that collection in my stash. I love the gold music paper from the collection! (Twelve Days of Christmas is retired, but you can find the 8x8 pad HERE and some of the 12x12 HERE.)

As always, the leftover paper strips are great for the inside of the card.

I stamped a greeting with gold ink. The vintage-look stamp is Crafty Secrets Seasons Greetings. (The stamp set is retired, but you find a similar digital stamp set HERE.)
