Really Reasonable Ribbon December Blog Hop

Good morning, Blogger Peeps! I am here with the Really Reasonable Ribbon December Blog Hop! I am now an "official" part of the Design Team, as a perpetual blog hop guest! I am so grateful that Bonnie allows me to play along once a month, when I am able! To say that I love ribbon would be a colossal understatement, so this is such fun for me!

You should be coming to my blog from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. (For the complete blog list, scroll to the bottom of the post.) After visiting me, hop over to Ginny's Blog next!

Here is a peeky at the RRR December Ribbon Club Assortment. This one is called Beautiful Blues, and boy is it! I love blue, especially dark blue with white!

As soon as I saw the Ribbon Club, I knew which paper I wanted to use...the BRAND NEW Graphic 45 Children's Hour! Because I am "special" I got an advance box of paper in November, for a project that I have planned after the New Year...but...I confess...I sneaked a few papers out of the box for this card!

Are those blue prints fantastic, or what?! How about that adorable image?! I am giddy over this new calendar collection. And it works perfectly with the Light Navy Satin with Grosgrain Edge ribbon. I love this satin ribbon, and I have oodles of it in every color. It is luscious.

I wrapped the light navy satin around the card, and then I added a strip of the border paper to the top to create a custom "printed ribbon"! How cool is THAT? I also used the Cindy White Crochet Lace for my scallop element below the ribbon. The lace is so delicate and "spider-webby"!

I tied a second, tiny bow with the light navy satin and tucked it under the flower corsage. I found some bits of frosted flowers in my stash and added them to a large rose. The rose started out white, but at some point in time, I sprayed it with blue glitter mists and then never used it. I just tossed it into the storage tote...to be found just in time for this card. Happy accident!

I decorated the inside of the card. I did another ribbon strip at the bottom and added more of the border paper.

I hope that you have time to create some cards during this busy, holiday time. I wish you and yours a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year! I will see you again for the February Blog Hop! (I am on vacation in January, so I will be sitting out.)

Make sure you grab the Domestic Special Deal...which is the November and December Ribbon Club!

Thanks for stopping by today! Now, hop over to Ginny's Blog next!

  17. Aluminium cans, tins, copper wires, containers and so forth are being recycled for various purposes. This is one of the main reasons for the increase in scrap metal prices. Copper which is used in automobiles are quite expensive compared to the other metal scraps. It is recycled for a number of times because of the scarcity of copper metal. Copper is one among the non ferrous metals including metals like lead, aluminium, brass and so forth.
