Really Reasonable Ribbon June Blog Hop

It is ribbon time again! I am here with the Really Reasonable Ribbon June Blog HopYou should be coming to my blog from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. (For the complete blog list, scroll to the bottom of the post.) After visiting me, hop over to the spectacular Ginny's Blog next!

Here is a peeky at the RRR June Ribbon Club Assortment. This assortment is called Citrus. Look at all that summer-time fun! Those hot yellows and oranges just scream sunshine!
I struggled just a bit with the project this week, and I am humbled to say that this card is attempt #2! I had an idea in my head that just would NOT work itself out! So, I figured, let's just glue on a bunch of flowers and a big ribbon! Everyone loves that! {Right??!?} I went with gray and white as my neutrals, which softens up all the bright colors.
I used the Tangerine Delicate Stitched Satin to make a large loopy bow. I made a small bow from the Maize Honeycomb Print Satin and tied it around the large bow. The large yellow flower has been in my stash for ages, so I decided to use it up! I used a Wink of Stella pen to color the center bits to make them sparkly, and to turn the brown to a more gray color. {It did not work as well as I'd hoped!}
There are lots of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, as well as some awesome Silver Spirals - all from the RRR Store! I pulled one of the Silver Bead Berry Spray Clusters apart and used some of the single stems as well.
I finished up the card with Iridescent White String (out of stock) and some small pearls. I then added a die cut sentiment to the top of the card. (You can also see a doily poking out at the bottom of the bow!) I have to admit, this card is a huge, colorful punch in the eye!

Thanks for stopping by today! Now, hop over to Ginny's Blog to see what she has for you!
