This was a fun sketch for me. I decided to use a scripture sentiment rather than an image, which made the card go together super fast! I used new (and fantastic) Bo Bunny paper. This one is called Vicki B. It's very cute! Lots of oranges, browns, and pinks. I stamped the image with brown ink, rather than black, which gives it a softer look.
The stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs (Scripture Collection 1). The "ribbon" ends are really paper cut with the Papertrey Ink banner dies. And I found some yummy buttons in my stash. Perfect! Oh, and I also used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the lace at the top of the card. I used that for the inside too, but forgot to take a photo. Oops!
Have a groovy and crafty week. I'm busy with my Graphic45 final project for the DT call...plus dh is in Asia on an extended trip. That always puts a cramp in my life! But, on the flip side, I can work on projects every night and not worry that I am ignoring him! The kids don't care if I ignore them...it just means they get to eat dinner in front of TV! {grin}
Gorgeous card Gloria (as usual). GL on your G45 final project!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow...absolutely beautiful! I love ODBD stamps...they are soooo awesome and you really did a great job showcasing that fabulous sentiment. Truly a work of art Gloria!! Hugs, Rosie :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! Love the verse stamp. My husband is gone this week too, so extra crafting time at night!
ReplyDeleteGloria,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this sketch! I just used it for a card I made for my daughter's birthday. I used my March Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit and am thrilled with how it turned out. I can't wait to try another one of your sketches! Whoo hoo!
