Enough chit chat! Here is my altered project. I wanted to make a project with a sewing theme for my mom, for Mother's Day. (Mom, if you are peeking, stop it!)
I altered a 10x10 artist canvas. I painted all the edges black, then used Mod Podge to attach fabbie Graphic 45 paper (Domestic Goddess Happy Homemaker). Once I had the paper all attached, I went to town adding sewing items. (I do NOT sew, but love sewing paraphernalia!)
I covered chipboard dress forms with paper and other odds and ends. I wanted this canvas to look like a sewing project was "in session."
The chipboard was all naked, meaning I had to do something with it...as in ALTER it. {grin} I sprayed the hanger and scissors with silver mica spray.
I found some fun embellishments in the button section of the craft store. The package contained a needle, thimble, and some other items. Very fun!
