Graphic 45 A Ladies' Diary- StopandScrap.com

Welcome! I am very excited to share the NEW Graphic 45 A Ladies' Diary collection with you today! StopAndScrap has this collection and MORE on pre-order!

Since I am on the Graphic 45 design team, I have already gotten my hands on this fantastic paper! This is one of my NEW favorites in the Graphic 45 catalog! I love the soft colors paired with dark brown and black. Plus, any paper that has clocks and flowers is a hit with me!

I used the 8x8 pad for this project. The smaller scale of the prints is perfect for cards, tags, and mini albums.

I made a card with a removable book mark! Nothing says "friendship" like a pretty bookmark!

The Simple Stories Odds and Ends Memorabilia Pocket is perfect for tucking the bookmark into. You could also tuck a gift card into the pocket for an extra special gift! I edged the pocket with brown ink, and attached an image cut from the paper.

I used Prima Perle Bebe Fairy Belle flowers to decorate my pocket and bookmark. So soft and pretty!

I found some stamps in my stash with a reading theme. I love to read, and I am sure I can think of a few friends who like reading also and would enjoy getting this card!

You can see that I fussy cut the lady from the paper and raised the layer with foam tape for added dimension. I edged the cut-out with a marker to give it extra depth and contrast.

Here is a look at the inside of the card.

  8. Gloria, I'm a retired librarian and love the idea of a detachable book mark. A Ladies Diary is going to supplant The Old Curiosity Shoppe as my most favorite paper!
