Really Reasonable Ribbon and Hampton Art Stamps Blog Hop!

Welcome to the joint Really Reasonable Ribbon and Hampton Art Stamps Blog Hop! This is going to be loads of fun! I am on BOTH of these fantastic Design Teams, and I can tell you that you will see AMAZING projects!

The blog hop will be open for ONE WEEK, to give you a chance to hop to all the blogs and leave comments! There will be prizes offered on both the Hampton Art Stamps Blog and the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog! Leave a comment on EACH blog!

You should be coming to me from Beverly's Blog. If not, check the list at the end of this post and get yourself on track so you don't miss any of the fantastic projects!

The design team members had a challenge to use Hampton Art Stamps images (or sentiments), RRR ribbons and trims, and pink (in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Here is my card.

I think that this turned out so pretty! I normally don't use very much pink, and I find the Copic pinks hard to match sometimes, but this just came together so well.

I used Fantasy Rose and Pearl Pink Diamond Satin ribbons, plus Cotton Candy Baker's Twine. I always use my Bow Easy tool to make my bows. The $4.99 I spent on this tool was worth every penny! I made two bows and glued them together with Beacon Fabri-tac glue. I use the same glue to add my "twine-y" button.

That beautiful image is from the Hampton Art Stamps Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet collection. (Did you know that Hampton Art Stamps has the license for several "big name" stamp lines?!) I stamped the image with brown ink, then colored it with Copic markers.

I added a die cut shape, a charm, and some pearls to finish off the design.

I used Hampton Art Stamps Doodlebug Designs You Said It for the inside sentiment. (I have lost a few people to cancer, and I miss them terribly. I cannot mail them a card, but I can mail this card to someone who may need to hear from me!)

Now, have fun with the hop! Move on to Cherry's Blog next!

  1. What a beautiful card...and that bow!!!! I love how the die cut circle draws the eye right to the image. Really lovely! Probably won't have time to do the blog hop, but I'll try to squeeze it in if I can. Wedding in just 11 days!
