Hampton Art CHA Peeks!

Scroll down for my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

I know that everyone who did not get a chance to go to CHA is looking forward to seeing all of the CHA projects from their favorite companies! Since I had to miss CHA due to illness, I am just as excited as everyone else to see what is NEW!

I hope one of your favorite companies is Hampton Art! They have teamed up with a boatload of new companies this year - so sit back and enjoy the ride! As always, I get to work with the Graphic 45 stamps (being on the DT for both companies gives me an edge! hee hee)

I have two cards to share today using the NEW HA/G45 French Country and Secret Garden stamps! First up, French Country!

I love this stamp set! It has everything: postage, text, roosters, flowers! The works!

I used a chalkboard technique for this card. I stamped the image onto textured black cardstock with Watermark ink. I then embossed with white embossing powder. I then rubbed white ink over the paper to add the "dirty chalkboard" look.

Check out the Graphic 45 French Country papers! G45 sent me extra papers to make sure I had enough to design samples for both companies! I was so pleased!

I used a white pencil to add some smudges and detail to the image. Normally this technique makes use of smooth cardstock, but I love how it looks with textured!

I stamped the sentiment onto cream cardstock with black ink, and cut it out with circle die cut templates.

Next up, Secret Garden!

Another home run! Stunning stamps! I cannot wait to mix and match these with other collections!

To create this card, I stamped the white paper with the text image using gray ink. Then, I embossed the paper with an embossing folder. After embossing, I rubbed green ink over the paper to make the embossing stand out.

I stamped the clocks with black ink, and then I rubbed over the images with green ink to "colorize" them before cutting them out with a die cut template. The bird is stamped with gray ink.

I did not use any printed paper for this card! {I know! FAINT!} But you can see how easy it is to "make your own" with stamps, embossing folders, and ink. And please note, this is not a NEW embossing folder! I have had it in my stash for several years, but it matches the theme perfectly! Don't be afraid to shop your stash and mix old with new!
