It is time again for a Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge! The NEW Challenge is make a project that is pink and brown, plus ribbon! I happen to LOVE pink and brown together. It reminds me of strawberries and chocolate! Here is my card.
Ok, yes. I think I am funny! I really love jar stamps...but sometimes I get a bit crazy with them. A few years ago I stamped a little witch and put her into the jar...and then colored the jar as if it was filling with water... I thought it was hilarious, but my kids were very concerned about my sanity. And my BFF took the colored image to save for blackmail.... So, I did not try to drown the VW Bug....
I thought the pink stars on turftan brown grosgrain ribbon and the flowered paper was sort of "flower child" and matched my images.
I stamped and colored the jar and then fussy cut it. (I do not have a jar die cut.) I mounted the jar on the card with foam squares. I then stamped and colored the Bug and cut it out with a matching die template. I glued the bug to the jar. Cute, right?!
I had to use some of my FAVORITE diamond satin ribbon. This time in Fantasy Rose. Every time I think I have every color, Bonnie stocks NEW colors! There are close to 50 colors in the RRR store!
I turned this silly card into a get well card. I added a little bit of sweetheart cherries turftan brown grosgrain ribbon to the inside.
