Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! It is once again RELEASE DAY! We are introducing the Cascading Fuchsia Collection! This collection comes with one 12" x 12" paper pad, six stamp sets, two dies, and a card kit. Get it all in the "I Want it All" option, until June 5th (or supplies last).

I have to tell you folks, the stamps in this collection are GORGEOUS! All I wanted to do was sit and color them! (So, I did!!!) My mom always had baskets of fuchsias hanging from our front porch at our home in Pennsylvania. Hanging baskets of fuchsias were a staple of every country home in the summer. I tried to grow them when I lived in North Carolina, but the heat and my lack of attention...well, let's just say, I am not much of a gardener! I have not seen fuchsias since moving to California, so I Googled them before I started to color the images. I was only familiar with the traditional colors of fuchsia and dark purple. There are TONS of color options available! Who knew?! I decided to color this image with a deep maroon red and pink.

Here is how I made the card:

Create a 5 1/2" x 6", top-fold card by cutting black cardstock to 5 1/2" x 12" and scoring at 6" on the long side. Cut maroon print paper from the Cascading Fuchsia Paper Collection to 5 3/8" x 5 7/8". Set aside. Cut gray print paper to 2" x 5 3/4" and attach to the left side of the maroon paper, leaving a 1/16" border on the edges. Cut green print paper to 3 1/2" x 5 3/4" and attach to the right side of the maroon paper, leaving a 1/16" border on the edges.

Wrap a 7" length of maroon velvet ribbon around the panel to cover the seam where the gray and green paper is overlapping. Secure the ribbon at the back of the maroon panel. Attach the panel to the card front with dimensional tape.

Stamp the image from the Fuchsia Clusters Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. Color the image with Copic markers. Use the Spellbinders Grand Oval die template to cut out the image. Sponge the edges of the oval with gray chalk ink. Trim the Spellbinders Labels Ten die cut from black paper. Attach the image to the label die cut with foam adhesive. Attach the matted image to the right side of the card front with foam adhesive.

Glue three green pearls to the bottom of the Labels Ten die cut as shown. Create a bow from green satin ribbon and glue to the top of the image as shown. Stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Sentiments Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. Trim out the sentiment using the label strip die template from the Cut Mat Create 1B Die. Sponge the edges of the sentiment strip with gray chalk ink and attach it to the left edge of the card with foam adhesive, tucking one edge under the oval.

Decorate the inside of the card by first trimming a maroon panel from the Cascading Fuchsia Paper Collection to 5 3/8" x 5 7/8". Attach the panel to the inside of the card. Trim white cardstock to 5 1/2" x 5 3/4". Stamp the small image from the Fuchsia Bouquet Cling Stamp Set onto the upper right and lower left corners of the white cardstock using Merlot pigment ink. Attach the panel to the inside of the card.
