Graphic 45 - September Time to Flourish Project Sheet

Today is World Card Making Day, so what better way to celebrate than with some Graphic 45 cards?!

I am sharing the Graphic 45 Time to Flourish September class project sheet with you today. Graphic 45 shared on their blog HERE. Please visit their blog and let them know what you think of this project series!

Each class in this series contains two cards and two tags using the matching monthly papers from the Time to Flourish Collection! Click HERE to print your step-by-step directions for these projects! For the September class, we are using the September Flourish and Cut Apart sheets from Time to Flourish, as well as the Cardstock Stickers and the Alphabet Stickers, both in stock at Scrapbook.com. Our Staples item this month are the Shabby Chic Ornate Metal Brads, which come 10 to a package. We are using two sizes of the tags, Large and Artist Trading Tags, both in the kraft color.

To order project kits online, click HERE for the September kit, or HERE for the "I Really Want it All Bundle."

I used a "quilting" style for the cards this month, which is a great way to use up scraps of paper! This card is 6" x 6" and has a lot of dimension through layers and fussy cutting. The card can be personalized by choosing the number stickers that best match your occasion or event.

To add extra dimension to the stickers, I attached them to scraps of cardstock, then trimmed around the edges.

You can also use the alphabet stickers to personalize the inside of your cards. You can also convert the bottom decoration into a pocket for a gift card. Your favorite student or teacher would love that!

This card is 6" x 5" and uses another type of quilting pattern for the base. Again, I used layers of fussy cut images and sticker elements.

I keep all border pieces and thin strips of decorative paper to use for decorating the inside of my cards. I am a confessed paper hoarder, and I simply cannot toss any Graphic 45 paper away, no matter how small the piece!

The tags for September are the Large Kraft tags, with the addition of ATC-sized tags placed in pockets on the main tags. I used the large "bloom and grow" sticker to create a pocket, stuffed with tags and journaling spots, then personalized with the sticker letters. This tag would make a great hostess gift or "place card" for a craft event.

The second tag looks very simple, but when you lift up the bottom of the tag, just under the "wishes" stickers, you will see two hidden pockets!

This month, you will learn how to alter the some of the stickers to create custom embellishments. Make sure to check out the project sheet for more information.

Under the hidden flap, you will find two decorated pockets, stuffed with tags and photo mats!

Remember, these project sheets are released to the Retail Stores first. The Consumers get to see these on the blog once the stores have time to teach the classes locally. For the seasonal projects that are coming to you "late," just think of it as making your cards and tags for next year! It never hurts to get ahead!

The October projects are at your local stores NOW, and the November set will be arriving to them soon! I have only one more project set to create and then the program will be over! I we are all excited to find out what the NEW program will be for 2016!

Thanks for stopping by!
