At the end of the hop, comment on the RRR Blog post, answering the question listed, for a chance to win the December Ribbon Club Assortment shown below. (The Design Team appreciates your comments, too!)
This month the collection is called Back to Basics Black and White Assortment. I really like this assortment, which is really black and gray, with a bit of white. I am pretty sure that this is the perfect ribbon collection for New Year's projects. But, since I never do what is expected...
I decided to create a Christmas card! The Authentique Vintage Christmas paper collection has black accents, and is a perfect match for the ribbon club!
I used the 5/8" Black Diamond Satin and the 3/8" Shell Gray Swiss Mini Dots Satin ribbons to create a Christmas bow! I added another bow made from Red Burlap String to the top of the ribbon bows. Very classy! To top it all off, I added a Silver Snowflake Charm on top of the whole stack!
A snowy die cut doily and some glittered flowers finish off the card. This card is 7" tall and 5" wide, and it will need a padded mailer or box for mailing.
I used some of the paper scraps, plus a cut-apart sentiment and some of the Vintage Christmas stickers to finish the inside of the card.
Now, hop over to Ginny's Blog to see what she has for you! Ginny is the QUEEN of all things layered and ribbon-y, so I am sure she has a beauty for you to see!

ReplyDeleteI don't know Gloria, I may have to stop subscribing to your blog. My list of Gloria-Projects-To-Do just keeps growing and growing. I'm starting to feel pressure. *snark* I just happen to have several pads of this collection which I haven't dived into yet, and this may be the perfect use for some of it! I think I'll find a somewhat larger box (I don't have a lot of use for tags), and make a box to keep received Christmas cards in ... it will look nice through the holidays, and be a nice place to store cards until next year (I always like to revisit the previous year's cards when starting my card addressing on the following year!
ReplyDeleteAs always, you've created a relatively simple, yet lovely inspiration. So glad I found you!
