CHA Reveals - Hampton Art and 7 Gypsies

I have so many CHA projects to share with you! Here are a few that I made for the Hampton Art booth using NEW 7 Gypsies stamps.

One of the new sets contains all 12 months in amazingly beautiful script and frames!  It is called 12 Months (#IC0236) I stamped "February" and created a Valentine's Day card with it.

These images stamp up so well. (Wait until you see the layout I made with this set!)

Here you can see all the lovely layers and the bows...yum!

The next card is very different! I used a new set called Time Pieces (#IC0235)

I created my own custom background paper by stamping the script paper and the other paper strip with various images from the set.

I stamped the focal image onto a pre-printed journaling block with red ink, then embossed with embossing powder. Using stamps to change the look of things is such a great way to get more life out of papers and pre-made items.

I still have lots of layers and bows! That never changes!

I created a patriotic shadow box with stamps from Time Pieces (#IC0235), 12 Months (#IC0236), and Abundance (#IC0148). The box is 8x8 inches.

I loved making this project. I had been hoarding the paper pack since summer, waiting for the best way to use it! I found a photo of one of my older brothers to use for my box. All four of my brothers and my father served in our military. I am so very proud of them! (This is Larry, by the way. His wife is the lady some of you have been praying for! Keep the prayers coming!)

This box is actually part of a Graphic 45 8x8 matchbook box. I used just the "drawer" part of the box to create a shadow box.

I stamped some of the images and text with pigment ink, then embossed them with embossing powder. I fussy cut the clocks and compasses and used them in place of buttons on my paper rosettes.

I die cut tickets, then stamped the music and "July" onto the tickets in a repeating pattern.
I think the saying about time being fleeting is a good one to use for this project. The photo of my brother was taken when he was 18 years old, and he is soon to celebrate his 62nd birthday! I am sure he will agree, that time is fleeting and precious. (I am only outing him on his age because I just had my 48th birthday...and I am still younger! hee hee Oh, I mean to type 29th birthday, yeah, that's it....)

This is a good photo of the depth of the box. I hope you like this project. It is one that I really enjoyed making and I was very sad to part with it for CHA.

Thanks for stopping by. I have a Graphic 45 project coming later today, so stop back!
