Graphic 45 Goes Back to School

You all know how much I love Graphic 45 papers. I cannot get enough of them. The vast amount I have in my stash is testament to that fact! I love poking around in the older collections and trying to match them up with the new collections. Let's face it, I just love the paper!

A few days ago I got a note from Joanna, who is filling in on the blog for a few weeks. She found a layout using An ABC Primer that I had done a while ago and she wanted to post it on the G45 Blog. I was pretty sure it had been posted already, but told her I had others. (Naturally!) She chose this one to post. (Long-time readers may find this one familiar, but it is worth a second look, right?!)

My husband's cousin asked me to make a layout for her son's school photo. This is what I came up with. I placed a photo mat on the page and I added a "clipboard" tag so that she could do some journaling.

I inked the train track border and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I attached alphas to spell Cody's name.

I added a clock, some cogs, and a phrase. The phrase is inked and embossed to make it shiny.

The Graphic 45 chipboard items look great with the Imaginarium Designs chipboard elements that I altered! It's nice to use both pre-made and "naked" chippies!

Lots of dimension and great papers, also! An ABC Primer is one of those collections that I adore. I live in fear of using up my last sheets of it!
