My forced "vacation" from crafting has given me plenty of time to delve into something new! I have been hard at work on my NEXT venture....a CHALLENGE BLOG! I have been wanting to host my own challenge blog for a long time, and now that I have had to cut back on the amount of "in studio" work that I do, I felt that this was the perfect time!

The challenge blog will host bi-monthly challenges - open to USA and International participants! The challenges will be a mix of things and all styles will be welcomed! I already have a few prize sponsors and design team sponsors lined up! (If you would like to sponsor us, please click HERE.) And let me tell you, some of the PRIZES are out of this world! {wink}
Why do you have prizes when this is a "hoarders" challenge?
Really, this is a "tongue in cheek" way to poke fun at ourselves! We know we hoard stuff, and we know we will continue to buy and hoard stuff! But...let's have some fun along the way!
Design team? Who is on the team?
There will be a design team call next week! If you wish to apply, make sure you check out the requirements. (Due to the cost of shipping DT boxes, we can only accept USA applicants at this time.) The DT Call will post on December 30th. (Yes, even DT hoarders love new stuff, right?!) ETA: International folks, I WILL be asking you to to be guest DT, so don't despair!
I hope you will join in the fun and support us! The first challenge will post February 3rd. (I need time to call the DT and ship DT boxes, etc.) There may be some fun BEFORE the first challenge....so make sure you sign up to follow the blog! Now, head on over!

ReplyDeleteSounds very exciting Gloria! There are some wonderful international crafters so I hope as the Challenge Blog grows your sponsors will see their way to sponsoring non US DT members as well! Of course there are so many wonderful designers here it will be a difficult decision.... I obviously don't count myself among them... but I do count myself among the hoarding masses and I look forward to wonderful ideas to use what I have and incorporating new stuff that somehow finds its way into my space. :)
