Heartfelt Creations August Release - Farmers Market!

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! It is time for the August Release, Farmers Market! This collection contains a paper pad, six stamp sets, and two die sets. I love the images in this collection - fruits, vegetables, jars and jugs, vines! All in a vibrant color palette!

I created a jar-licious get well card. My mom has been very ill these past few weeks, so I was thinking of her when I made this card. Mom is doing better, but still in the hospital. All prayers for her are appreciated!

I colored my jugs to look like blue glass. One of my uncles used to collect blue glass bottles. The glass came in all shades of blue, from almost green, to a deep cobalt. I am not sure what the liquid IS, but it sure is pretty! I created a border at the bottom of the card to mimic the eyelet lace curtains my mom used to have in her kitchen.

To make this 6" x 6" card, start by trimming black cardstock to 6" x 12" and scoring at 6" on the long side to make a 6" x 6" top-fold card. Cut green print paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" and attach to the card front.

Trim diamond print paper from the Farmers Market Paper Collection to 5 3/8" x 5 3/8" and mat with black cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Attach the panel to the center of the card front with foam adhesive.

Stamp the jars image from the Jars and Accents Cling Stamp Set with black ink onto white cardstock. Color the image with markers. Use the smallest Spellbinders Grand Labels Four die to trim out the image. Use the largest Spellbinders Gold Labels Four die to cut and emboss black cardstock. Attach the die cut image to the black decorative label die cut using foam tape. Attach the image to the top center of the card front with foam tape.

Use the Spellbinders scallop Edgers dies to cut a scalloped border from white cardstock. Attach the border to the bottom of the card.

Stamp the Classic Sunflower image onto white cardstock with black ink. Color the image with markers. Use the Classic Sunflower Die to cut out the flowers. Shape the flowers as shown in this video, and then glue three layers together to form one bloom.

Stamp the vines from the Jars and Vines Cling Stamp Set with black ink onto green print Farmers Market paper. Use the Jars and Vines Die to cut out the vines. Glue the vines and the sunflower to the lower left corner of the card as shown.

Stamp the "Get Well Soon" sentiment from the Heartfelt Sentiments Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. Use the label strip from the Cut Mat Create 1A Die to cut out the sentiment. Sponge the sentiment with Salty Ocean distress ink. Attach the sentiment to the right of the flower using foam adhesive.

Decorate the inside of the card by cutting white cardstock to 5 7/8" x 5 7/8". Attach a 1" x 5 7/8" strip of the diamond print paper to the bottom edge of the white cardstock. Use gray ink to stamp the jug image from the Jug of Herbs Cling Stamp Set into the lower left corner of the cardstock, slightly above the printed paper strip. Attach the white panel to the inside of the card.

  1. Wow...this is beautiful! I love the way you used the diamond paper...and how the coloring in the jugs picks up on the hues in the paper. Then that fabulous pop of the yellow flower...really great, Gloria!
