The August Ribbon Club Assortment is a beautiful autumn mix of orange, brown, and green! This collection makes me long for crisp fall days...which won't come to southern California until sometime in December!
I wanted to use every ribbon in the club, but I made myself stop at four (plus a bit from last year's collection!) I made loopy bows from the Brown and Cream Plaid, the Kiwi Delicate Stitched Satin, and the Turftan Brown Delicate Stitched Satin ribbons. I also made a small loopy bow from a scrap of Moss and Cream Plaid ribbon, which I think is left over from last year's fall collection. Once I had all my loopy bows glued in place, I topped them with a bow made from the Tangerine Taffeta ribbon.
I tied a bit of the Brown and Cream Plaid ribbon to a large wooden button, and then glued the button to the top of all the bows. I tucked some crystal leaves under the top edge of the ribbons. What a pretty fall ribbon bouquet!
