Really Reasonable Ribbon April Blog Hop!

The April Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop is extra special this month! We are teaming up with the girls over at The Rubber Cafe for twice the fun! Start your hop at The Rubber Cafe Blog, and then visit all the designers, ending with the RRR Blog!

There will be two prizes offered on the blog hop – one on the RRR blog and one on The Rubber Café Blog.  Prizes winners will be selected randomly from comments.

You should be coming to my blog from the blog of my "real life" friend, Karen (By Design), who is also doing this hop as part of the Rubber Cafe team! Karen and I have been friends for about 6 years. We live near each other and are  both part of a crafty group which gets together monthly. This is Karen's first DT and first hop...so make sure to leave her some love!

Check out the RRR April Ribbon Club! Lots of spring colors!

Here is the card I made for the hop, using the amazing Rubber Cafe stamps and luscious RRR ribbons!

I stamped the Grater Floral stamp in brown ink and colored it with Copic markers. I like this stamp because you can color the flowers in colors to make it work for three of the four seasons! I colored mine with soft, spring colors, to match the ribbon. The sentiment is also a Rubber Cafe stamp, called Fabulous Phrases.

I used ribbons from the RRR April Ribbon Club to create my rolled roses. I use Glubers and Beacon Fabri-tac glue to make my roses. With some types of ribbon, the Glubers dots are not enough adhesive to hold the roses together.

I added a pearl to the center of each rose, and then tiny pearls to my sentiment block.

Happy spring! And enjoy the hop!

Next, hop over to Michelle's Blog (Inspiration Blooms).
