Letting me have a challenge like that....well, it could go south quickly, but I kept my head and made a Christmas card! That is not too crazy.
I love the NEW Charlotte Natural Crochet Lace. I purchased a bunch of it and have been adding to everything! I added a strip of it to the bottom of the card, then topped it with the 3/8" ruby red double-faced satin.
I will admit that the stars of the show are these flowers that I made from Spellbinders die cut shapes. I love to make my own flowers, but I often use pre-made due to the time it takes to make my own. However, I really wanted this card to be a stand-out, so I took the extra time. It sure paid off!
My perfect bow, made with the Bow Easy!

ReplyDeleteA really GORGEOUS card, Gloria! Thank you!...Nancy :o)
ReplyDeleteIt paid off for sure, those flowers are beautiful. I cant decide if its because they are red, which is my favorite color, or if its because they just stand out on their own, This is a beautiful card. Can I ask? Is the little part that is up a little with the star on it, is that like a tag that is tucked in the front? It looks like it, and I just love this card, It is so Christmas!! Thanks. have a great day.
