Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #1

Welcome! This is the very first challenge for my new blog, Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog!

Challenge #1: What's Your Style?
Share a project that showcases your signature style. Dig into your hoard and pull out items that make you shout with crafty joy! Whip up something that has your creative name all over it. Do you, because no one is you-er than you!

One person will receive this prize pack, donated by Gloria Stengel Designs! (Yeah, that's me!)

I found lots of yummy goodies in my hoard that I want to give to one fabulous challenge participant! Winners will be announced on Feb. 19th. (The challenge lasts for TWO weeks!)

Here is my project, in my style. Which I would describe as vintage-graphic-chic. {grin}

I love to use printed paper, lots of layers matted with cardstock, flowers with gears and clocks, ribbon, and graphic sentiments. (By graphic I mean....artsy not...naughty!)

I am pretty sure this card screams GLORIA! I love the bold colors, mixed with black. I love the postage stamp elements. {YES! This is Graphic 45 paper! Like, I have a huge hoard of it, right!}

I am sure you wish to know what is from the HOARD! Well, the little clip has been hoarded for a while. I think it a Stampin' Up item. I hate using them....because I may use them all up! The stamp is an old hoarded item. I do use it a lot, so does that count?!

I have a vast hoard of ribbon and flowers. And I constantly buy more!

The stamp for the inside is also an old stamp that I have hoarded. I am happy to report that the paper is pretty NEW to the hoard! woot woot!

Thanks for looking! Go use your hoard!

Challenge Rules are HERE. Make sure you LINK your project up using the Link Tool on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog. PLEASE DO NOT LINK YOUR PROJECT TO MY SCRAPS OF LIFE BLOG! (Yes, that was shouting, sorry.)

Make sure you visit Design Team Group A and check out what they have to share!

  3. Yep, graphic Gloria style:-) love it and will start my layout today! I so wish I had known about the DT call.... Not that I imagine I could have made it, but because I want to try this year for a few DTs and I would be quite discriminating about it. Having fun is critical and I know your team will definitely have fun. (Look, no spelling errors, yay!)

  16. You know I have been a fan of your glorious creations for several years now. But I just love this signature piece...the way you tuck little treasures in for us to find: the mini clip, the clock, tiny tickets, rosebuds and stamps. It's all that vintage goodness, like an old fashioned 10 layer cake, that keeps me coming back for more. I call your style "vintage fresh." And I like it!
