In my quest to create more Clean and Simple cards, I have created another card in that style. As always, this is the HARDEST style for me. It takes me AGES to design and plan for a more simple card. My "hatred" of white space (or in this case, polka dotted pink space) is difficult to overcome!
This is a standard A2 sized card, created with black cardstock. I added a layer of white cardstock and then a layer of the pink dots paper from the Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection. The sentiment ticket is also from the paper collection. I popped it from the card with some foam squares.
I took some time with the flowers. I stamped the images with the Flowering Dogwood Cling Stamp Set, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Once I had all the images stamped, I colored them with Copic Markers. I wanted a mix of pinks, from darkest to palest.
After I had everything colored, I die cut the flowers and leaves with the Flower Dogwood Die. Then, I shaped each flower using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. I misted each flower and leaf with water, and then shaped. Once the flowers were dry, I added some Stickles glitter glue to each center.
I glued the flowers and leaves onto the card front. I added white cardstock to the inside of the card to make it easy to stamp or write a greeting.
