End of Summer

I came across this double page layout today and wanted to post it. I made this a few years ago and shows a trip we took to Myrtle Beach in 2004. I used Bazzill cardstock and Scenic Route printed paper (I think it's SR paper.)

I thought this layout was sort of innovative in that I added snaps - you know the kind on kids clothes or the back of a blouse - to some of the circles on the paper. I also use a paint chip for my journaling. I printed the journaling onto a transparency, and then fastened it to the paint chip with the snaps. If you click on the photos you may be able to read the paint colors on the chip - all vacation-y words! If you look at the metal word "summer" you can see that it is covered with glue and foil.

I also love the graphic style of this layout and the fact that I used 14 photos! Count 'em!

Hope you enjoyed this "blast from my past."

  3. Gloria,
I really like this layout. The fact that you used alot of pictures - I like that - and the elements you used - snaps, paint chip - so creative.
