The Last Sunday in April

Can y'all believe it's the LAST Sunday in April? Are you kidding me?! Just what happened to...February? Truth be told, I actually type up these Sunday posts on Saturday since I never get home from church until 1pm, and with me being on West Coast time also...I just feel better about doing them Saturday. That way y'all can read them with your Sunday coffee. But still...the last weekend in April? I guess time does fly when you're havin' fun!

Ok, on to the reveals for today. Lots to show again, since I was a lazy blogger last week.

365 Cards - Sketchy Sunday

The sketch for 365 Cards is pretty darn cool. I really enjoyed working with it this week! If you've not been to the 365 Cards blog, go visit. The talent that turns up over there is astounding! It's hopping with creativity!

I used some new Bo Bunny paper from the April Apron Strings Designs kit, plus a Stampin' Up punch. The scallops were cut from a DCWV paper.

I think I tried every green ink in my stash to find one that matched! I think I ended up using Clover Meadow from CTMH.

Triple the Sketch #54

This was one awesome sketch also. I am always blown away by what the rest of the DT makes. I feel like a complete newbie on this team, I have to say! This was my take:

I used a paper kit I got from SU a long time ago. I love the combo of brown, blue, hot pink. I think it turned out pretty classy. The half-pearls from Robin's Nest are awesome also. I got those from the CropStop store.

CropStop - Friday Cuttlebug Project

Every Friday I have a Cuttlebug project on the CropStop message board. Some weeks I do a tutorial, and other weeks I just show a project. This week I did a project using embossed vellum. It turned out very cool. It's a fun technique to try.

I love this paper my friend Jamie sent me! It goes perfectly with the CB folder I chose!

Midnight Oil Scrapbook Designs

Ok, last but not least - MOSD. I also do a project for the MOSD blog each Friday. This week I used a Perfectly Shaped chipboard mini album page and a Stacker Collection to make a card. (I hope my friend Beverly does not see this as it's part of her very LATE b-day pkg. )

This photo was taken July 2007, but I am sure we look just the same! (I'm on the right, in the white top.) We were on our girls' weekend in NC. This year we will be in upstate NY with our other gal pals. I cannot wait!

Well, that's all for today. Tune in again tomorrow for the 365 Cards Monday reveal. The card for Monday was a rave hit with my family and homeschool girlfriends! (Yeah, they get a sneak peek. That's the perk they get for having to put up with me IRL!)

I can relate to how you feel about this being the last week of April. I think someone is sneaking into my house and stealing months off of my calendar...he he. Have a great last week of April.

  6. Wow - they are all beautiful cards - love all the different designs and colours, I love how you attached the shaped card to the front of a normal card - great idea.
Your baby card is just the sweetest.
Time goes quicker and quicker each year I think.

  7. I luv your cards. They are lovely. I especially like the one where you embossed on vellum. The embossed pattern shows up so clearly. Must go dig up my vellum sheets to play with them. Know what you mean about time flying past...I can't believe it myself. It'll be Xmas before we know it!
