You can't see from the photo, but the stripped paper is glitter paper! And the other paper has a shimmer to it. I was lucky to find the flowers in my stash! And that clear/yellow button! The card really came together in the end! (The greeting is a Stampin' Up stamp, and I cut the tag shapes with the nesting SU punches.)
I really wanted to use this paper, since when I made the card I was getting ready to leave for Hawaii. I wanted to get the island feel before we left. I'm home now, and can say that YES I did capture that tropical feel.

What a great way to use both sides of the paper - I always feel like I have to "choose" a favorite side...now I feel like I can love them both.
