This card is super simple, just some cardstock and one piece of printed paper. The ribbon came to me in my MOSD DT package. Alison had a lovely pail of ribbons tucked into my DT box! Love that!
The flower is a K&Company flower brad, but I took it several of them apart and added a pearl brad of my own to make this flower. Then I cut a mini tag with my Big Shot and a Sizzix die for the greeting. The little stamp is SU.I encourage you to see your "ready made" products through new eyes this week. See if you can change or modify something that you have in your stash. Sometimes you find something that is not quite right...but with a little imagination you can modify it to fit - like I did with my flower. We all get so hung up on buying new stuff that we can ignore treasures that we already have in our stash! Get yours out and play!
Gloria, this is fantastic and don't you just love that Cosmo Early Bird paper?
ReplyDeleteYou know, one thing I love about this challenge site is that we are encouraged to use some of our older supplies - we don't feel pushed to have the newest and best of things! Your card is just beautiful - I love the colors, and the soft feel to it! Great job Gloria!
ReplyDeleteHere here Patti. I agree totally Gloria that with 365 I am using all sorts of stuff I would not normally use lol and you know what a hoarder I am lol. Love your card today Gloria and I wish I could get Cosmo Cricket papers here so I could say that hehehe.
