I also wanted to make this card so it could be for a boy/man, as well as for a girl/woman, so I used this American Crafts paper. Also, Our Creative Corner and Christian Paper Crafts had blue and green color challenges this past week, so I used those colors, too. (Better late than never!) I added just a splash of very dark brown. (I think it's Bazzill java.)
I colored the truffle with pencils and OMS and added some buttons and a pearl. The sentiment is Stampin' Up.
My second card is the 365 Cards Sketchy Sunday challenge. The sketch is really awesome, but I just could not get a good idea to leap forth!
This is what I ended up with. It's really not my best effort.
I used Fancy Pants paper and a Fiskars scallop punch. But, honestly, this is not the card that I saw in my mind's eye when I started working. But, some days you just have to move on.I do love the yummy K&Company flower. I added this sparkly brad that I found in my brad bin. It's very antique looking.
Come back tomorrow for my 365 Cards Monday Challenge.
