The February release stamps are online at KLM Digital Designs! I used this chrysanthemum image for my card. My favorite shade of mum is this burnt orange color. I've loved mums since I was a girl. My mother loved them and her mother before her. They are not a popular flower here in southern California, and I am not even sure they grow well here. I miss them. Where I grew up in Pennsylvania, mums were a fall flower, but I still loved this image and used it here in it's fall glory. We have year round spring here, so I am not pining for spring color like most of the country! (Sorry, that was a pot shot at all you snow-bound folks, huh?!)
I printed the image a few times, then colored it and layered it with pop dots for dimension. I used pencils and OMS to color. The paper is Basic Grey Mellow, the cardstock is Bazzill (what else?), and the stamp is Unity. I cut the sentiment block with a Spellbinders Nestie die. I found the tulle at my LSS. It's a great dark orange color and perfect for this card.
your right mums don't grow in our state very well :( this is a beaut of a card girl! luv the tulle :)
